Joshua Jang has more than 10 years of experience in Retail & Health System Pharmacy Operations, Technology, and Pharmacy Revenue Cycle Management. Prior to joining McKesson, Joshua mainly worked in administrative roles in health systems, working closely with IT, Revenue Cycle and Patient Financial services, providing a safety-net for pharmacy revenue cycle while identifying revenue enhancement opportunities.
Since joining McKesson in 2018, he has had responsibilities as an adjunct professor for informatics from Fairleigh Dickinson University for PharmD candidates, as a Product Owner, managing the product development of Macro Helix Revenue Services, and as a Managing Pharmacy Consultant, improving Customers' Pharmacy Revenue Cycle operations and efficiencies.
His wins at McKesson include resolving $6.9M of un-billed pharmacy charges post-EMR change (2018 - billing audit), identifying and preventing previously-unknown revenue leak amounting to $2.5M in Pharmacy Charges (2019 - CDM audit), and implementing new algorithms for Macro Helix Revenue Services (2020) that contributed to the reversal of a downward trend in revenue recovery.
